In a developing country like India, the rural population still faces challenges in accessing quality eye care. Shankar’s Eye Hospital recognized this need early on and has established a system to identify patients in nearby villages with eye problems, bring them to the main hospital, perform surgeries, provide them with glasses, and return them to their homes free of cost. We also provide morning tea and snacks free of charge.
