Eye Screening Camp, Cataract Surgery & Diabetic Retinopathy Diagnosis

A Free Eye Screening Camp was successfully conducted under the initative of Vivekananda Geetha Padana Kendra, Punalur Group in association with Shankar's Eye Hospital Punalur. The camp was held on August 9,2026 from 9 A.M to 1 P.M at Mathra Ayiravalli Temple Auditorium and recieved a good response from local community.

Comprehensive  Eye Examinations were provided along with screening for cataract surgery and diabetic retinopathy. Patients requiring further evaluation and treatment were given appropriate guidance and referrals.

The camp provided beneficial in promoting eye health and helping with the early detection and management of vision related conditions among the community.

• Patients who are recommended for surgery will recieve complimentary ECG, BP and Sugar tests.
